Canção is a bossa nova project by Madison-based vocalist Betsy Ezell with collaborators Richard Hildner, Nick Moran and Chris Rottmayer. Canção features music in the tradition and spirit of Brazilian bossa nova – sophisticated and breezy, simple and charming. Listeners will be transported by innovative arrangements of bossa jazz standards as well as modern twists and original compositions, presented by some of Madison’s finest musicians.
